Prepare yourselves for a list of shit I do when my boys are gone.

Eat whatever the fuck I want and where I want without sharing.
As a mother and educator, this goes against everything I teach, however, sitting on my couch, covered in mama's favorite blankets, eating Target bakery's apple fritters, is a not so guilty pleasure of mine.
Watch whatever the fuck I want on TV. This typically means I'm watching absolute garbage television; like the Real Housewives of Miami.
Read as late as I want and whenever I want. I am currently reading the Filthy Rich Fae series, When the Moon Hatched series, and the last book in the Fourth Wing Series.
Get a really solid workout in as often as possible! I pop on a podcast, (Two Bears One Cave, This Past Weekend with Theo Von, and The Personal Finance Podcast if you need some ideas), and take my time through my workouts. I make sure to get in a really solid stretch without feeling rushed and short on time. I still have responsibilities; however, this is something I really need to reset, be healthy, and keep sane (and look hot).
Go to my favorite stores for as long as I want. Whether it's getting groceries using my Target Circle app or going to my favorite HomeGoods in St. Louis Park, MN, I wander. There's no rushing or, "Can I please get a toy?" I grab my favorite foods and maybe a face mask, and dawdle to the self-checkout.
Talk on the phone without screeching, screaming, or interruptions. Remember those conversations with your friends you had for over an hour? I like to have one of those with a girlfriend or family member.
Hang out with the girls. This one's pretty straightforward—happy hour, lunch, or whatever. Just some fun girl time to relax and unwind.
There are a few other things I love to do: crafts, house projects, catch up on computer work, vaccum the snack factory in between the couch cushions, etc. Of course, I make time to just sit and relax, but I like to keep moderately busy. Do I miss my boys? Absolutely! But I know that this time is essential for resetting my home and myself so that I can be the best mother for them when they bring their feral selves back home.
